I found the best way to save is to use lists because I rarely end up using things I bought just because they are on sale. We like certain things, so we just stick with them. Gas is so expense that driving around finding the cheaper price doesn't really work for us.

And those light bulbs are great.

Hey, Louisiana's right about the light bulbs. They made a big difference in my light bill. Initially they are more expensive, but if you get the ones that last 3-5 years it evens out.

We have two stores on our little corner of the island. One has great produce and meat. The other has a better selection of groceries. I go to both, but luckily they are only a couple of blocks apart. Still sometimes I have to drive the 15 miles to Kapolei to Safeway for specality items like.

Hey sweet. i know what you mean about saving a few dollars here and a few there. we have to try a few things before we see what works.

here in town, the big grocery stores like Safeway's cart take 25 cents and Superstore's take $1, Co-op doesn't charge and Sobeys neither.

all 4 of them have great selection but Superstore is crazy. is lower prices and the lines and often mess are a pain.

in the house, i have change the lightbulbs to the energy saver ones. have a thermostat programable and try to turn off lights not in use.

thank you for the comment hon.
i miss you so much too.
send me an email so i can reply, not sure which of the 2 ones i have of yours is the good one.

i hope you are well. i love you. xoxooxox
