Earlier this week I had a day free with no plans. It was a beautiful, sunny summer day. A wonderful day for a drive. And there is a drive through wildlife safari about an hour from my house that I’ve been hearing about but never been to visit. So I thought it was high time I go visit this place. I thought at the very least I’d get some fodder for future Camera Critters posts. And boy did I! I have enough shots for several weeks worth of posts. I had a fabulous time and will definitely be going there again. This is the first of the series of shots from the visit there…
This guy was hiding out in the shade since it was a hot day.

Looks like wonderful fun. You captured some very nice critters. I’d probably be in the shade, too!

I’d love to be near a place like this!
The light leads me to believe it was a really hot day.
Great shots!

As Carletta said, it looks hot there! I’d be in the shade, too — though preferably in lion-free shade. ;) Great shots. Come see what I got pics of in Canada.

I love it when I’m able to get the picture-larder well stocked :) It looks like a slow day for all the animals – I’m sure the ostrich wishes it could take some of its feathers off!
